Application Areas
The 2100Plus Total Nitrogen Water Quality Online Analyzer is designed for online monitoring of total nitrogen content in various water sources, including surface water, water supply sources, industrial wastewater, and municipal sewage.
Detection Principles
Under alkaline conditions, the sample is subjected to digestion with potassium persulfate, converting all nitrogen in the sample into nitrates. Under appropriate conditions, nitrates react with specific compounds to form colored complexes. The absorbance of this substance is proportional to the nitrate content, and the absorbance is measured at a specific wavelength.
