Detection Principle
The sample is atomized and enters the plasma torch, where it is ionized at high temperatures, creating ions. These ions then enter the quadrupole mass spectrometer through the interface, where they are separated based on their charge-to-mass ratio. Subsequently, the number of ions at specific charge-to-mass ratios is quantitatively analyzed, providing accurate detection and measurement of various elements in the sample.
