In response to the major environmental needs of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao region, based on international academic frontiers, following the five in one construction and development concept of "theoretical innovation, technological breakthroughs, decision support, industrial incubation, and regional cooperation" in environmental science, we gather high-end talents in the environmental field at home and abroad, organize and implement joint research and development to break through environmental pollution prevention and control, ecological and environmental risk protection, and green development bottlenecks, To form a comprehensive environmental solution for the coordinated improvement of the ecological environment in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, promote institutional innovation for the deep integration of ecological environment governance in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao under the background of "one country, two systems", and build an ecological environment incubation mechanism that combines technological innovation and green finance.

In November 2019, Etran Technology reached a cooperation agreement with Jinan University to jointly build the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan Project - Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Environmental Quality Collaborative Innovation Joint Laboratory (Project Number: 2019B121205004), which is one of the first ten Guangdong Hong Kong Macao joint laboratories in the province. Etran Technology participated in the construction and research of the following three directions. （1） Advanced Instrument Research and Big Data: With the development of key technologies and advanced instruments, as well as the application of big data analysis, as the core research direction, we focus on developing cutting-edge instruments that can accurately and quickly identify and quantify environmental pollutants in real time. We have completed the ecological big data analysis technology and decision-making platform based on sensor technology, established a regional pollutant big database, and provided data support for regional pollutant prevention and control. （2） Environmental Protection Industry Incubation Center: Centered around the needs of regional and even national environmental protection industry advanced achievement transformation and industrial agglomeration cultivation, it provides entrepreneurial venues, shared facilities, technical services, consulting services, youth entrepreneurship guidance, resource docking, and other services to achieve seamless integration of technology research and development and achievement transformation, and meet the needs of environmental protection industry advanced achievement transformation and enterprise incubation. （3） Green Water Network and Blue Bay: Targeting the particularity, comprehensiveness, and complexity of the formation mechanism of pollutants in water bodies, sediments, and coastal zones in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, exploring key technologies for pollution control and governance in green water networks and blue bays, proposing a green water network system construction plan, and forming a set of coastal zone environmental restoration and comprehensive environmental remediation solutions.

This is another major initiative following the strategic cooperation of the "Industry University Research Project" with the Institute of Environment and Climate Research of Jinan University in 2018. With nearly 20 years of technical experience in the environmental field, the Etran Technology team has actively cooperated with universities to complement each other's strengths and actively cooperate with the national development strategy of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
